Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "I was originally at NYU, so it just seemed fitting to continue to work on the stuff I do while at Stern. Stern also has one of the best finance departments in the country with a number of world leading faculty.  I think the best way to explain it would be: When you come to an MBA experience, like Stern, you meet very talented and smart people but also very emotionally intelligent people."

Excerpt from Accepted.com-- "The MSQM provides business basics, essentially, the MBA core plus analytics courses. The combination is designed to help students become data-literate managers and leaders. That’s the really short headline about it. It’s 20 months from start to finish and it’s lock-step, so there are no electives. Students take one course at a time for three to three and a half weeks per course. They come one right on top of the next and are pretty intense, but we’ve calibrated them so they are manageable for motivated students."

We interviewed our MBA fellows on their experience with offline and online networking events and we met with the Office of Career Development to hear the school’s perspective on what pain points they had holding networking events online. We also had amazing professors as advisors and I (Kidae) am currently a member of the Stern Venture Fellowship program, which supports high potential NYU entrepreneurs in advancing their venture through a customized summer program"

Excerpt from Find MBA-- "It was also a record year for the GMAT at NYU Stern School of Business in New York. The average score hit 729. Even so, Stern added three new admissions test options — LSAT, MCAT and DAT — to its application process this year. Stern also accepts the GMAT, GRE and Executive Assessment."

"Lisa Rios, assistant dean of MBA admissions at Stern, believes that 'a more seamless process for applicants' resulted in an eight percent increase in MBA applications this year."

Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "New York has been the perfect place to explore potential future careers as I transitioned from a non-traditional background in the military and education. If I wanted to explore the world of finance, Stern’s MBA and undergraduate program have a robust alumni network already established. Consulting? Most of the top firms are headquartered here, which may explain why consulting is one of the three largest employers of Stern grads in the 2021 Employment Report."

Excerpt from Executive Courses-- “‘I see this as the opposite of cuddly; in the last few years, corporate leaders have come to understand that focusing on profits to the detriment of other stakeholders has led to negative impacts on shareholders in terms of increased operational, reputational and regulatory risk,’ says Tensie Whelan, director of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business.”

Excerpt from Find MBA-- "Lisa Rios, Stern’s assistant dean of MBA admissions, puts the gains down to the combination of a more seamless process for applicants and strong demand for MBA places. New York University Stern School of Business today announced the launch of a new Online/Modular option in the Langone Part-time MBA Program, building on the program’s heritage of flexible options for working professionals. 

On November 16, NYU Stern's Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation will host a conversation with Simran Kang, CEO and Founder, myFO; Siran Cao, CEO and Founder, Mirza and NYU Stern Fubon Center Director and Professor Kathleen DeRose. Hear about their companies, and their entrepreneurial journeys.

Through a series of exercises, participants will identify and prioritize their best breakthrough innovation opportunities and a path to bringing those ideas to reality.

Excerpt from Poets & Quants-- "The class that has been the most valuable in building this startup for me would be “Getting to Launch: The Lean Startup“ with Professor Cynthia Franklin. This class took me through the ways in which to launch a startup and how to continuously be iterating to create a product that could quickly find product market fit. This class highlighted the need to move fast and put your product out instead of focusing on perfection over the timing. That lesson was invaluable for me in my startup journey."
