Biography

Patrick W. Kenney serves as senior counsel and project manager for Biggins Lacy Shapiro & Co., a consultancy which helps some of the world’s largest corporations identify the best locations, negotiate incentives, secure development approvals and optimize energy strategies. In addition to providing advisory services to client, he assists clients in the acquisition and disposition of certificated state tax credits.

Prior to joining BLS & Co., Patrick was in the New York office of Avison Young, performing financial analysis, legal documentation and due diligence to support client transactions and corporate expansion. He also was a real estate associate for New Oak Capital, serving the real estate advisory and investment banking practices of the New York-based solutions and advisory firm. His legal experience includes real estate, financing, municipal land use, general corporate and insurance matters.

Patrick is an adjunct professor at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate where he began teaching Real Estate Finance & Investment Analysis in 2013.

He holds a B.A. from Boston College, a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. He is a member of the Bar in New Jersey and New York.
