Biography

Yoram Landskroner joined New York University Stern School of Business as a Visiting Professor of Finance in September 2007. He teaches courses on investing, security analysis and money and banking.

Professor Landskroner's research interests include banking risks and performance, market discipline, bank regulation, foreign exchange options and convertible bonds. He holds the Albertson-Waltuch Professor of Business Administration at Hebrew University's School of Business Administration. He was also a visiting professor at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at Los Angeles.

Professor Landskroner is a member of the Board of Directors and chairman of the Investment Committee of Kahal providence funds. Previously, he was an advisor to the Bank of Israel and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

He earned his B.A. and M.B.A. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
