Graduation | Graduate Convocation | Tickets & Guests

All graduates must RSVP to participate in the NYU Stern Graduate Convocation ceremony. In addition, all guests must have tickets. 

NOTE: All graduates must bring their university ID and candidate ticket/name card for entry into the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. A maximum of three guest tickets may be requested by each graduate.

Third-Party Pick Up
If you cannot pick up tickets at the times allotted, a third party may pick them up, provided the following documentation is presented:

• Signed letter from the graduate authorizing pick-up
• Photocopy of graduate’s ID
• Photo ID of person picking up the tickets

Extra Tickets
When the official RSVP period ends, we will review our ticket inventory and send out an announcement regarding extra tickets, if available.  We recognize that the ticket allotment may not meet the needs of all students and their families. So we ask that you please be considerate of your fellow classmates by requesting only the number of tickets that you need and returning unneeded tickets to the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (KMC 10th floor) so that we may offer them to other graduates.

Children Under 2
Madison Square Garden Hulu Theater policy stipulates that guest tickets are not required for children under the age of 2.  Please note: All children under two entering the Hulu Theater without a guest ticket are required to sit in the same seat as their caretaker.
