The Henry Kaufman Initiative in Financial History is named for Dr. Henry Kaufman (ARTS '48, PhD '58), president of Henry Kaufman & Company, Inc., an investment management and economic and financial consulting firm, and a generous supporter of NYU and of NYU Stern, and who holds a steadfast belief in the power of research and teaching.
