Mock Application Workshop

Join Holly Curtis, Director of MBA Admissions, and evaluate a mock Stern application to the Full-time MBA program. Participate in this interactive workshop and dive deep into each component of the application. You will leave with insight into how Stern evaluates applications and with tips for preparing your most competitive application.

** Due to high demand, please only sign up for one mock application session throughout the three-day event. The content for each session is the same. If you need to cancel another registration, please reach out to sternmba@stern.nyu.edu. If you have previously participated in a mock application session at Stern, please note the content for this session will be the same.

Join Professor Adam Alter as he teaches a mock class and takes you inside the Stern classroom. Adam Alter is a Professor of Marketing at NYU Stern and his research has been published widely in academic journals, and featured in dozens of TV, radio and print outlets around the world. 

Space is limited, so please register in advance. You should plan to be on video if possible for this class.

Professor Adam Alter

Adam Alter is a Professor of Marketing at New York University’s Stern School of Business, with an affiliated appointment in the New York University Psychology Department. Adam’s academic research focuses on judgment and decision-making and social psychology, with a particular interest in the sometimes surprising effects of subtle cues in the environment on human cognition and behavior.

Reshma Dhati graduated from NYU Stern in 2011. While at Stern, Reshma specialized in Marketing, Finance, and Strategy and was the VP of Conference in the Graduate Marketing Association. She is currently the Brand Marketing Director at Pernod Ricard.

Lauren Stoneberg

Lauren Stoneberg received her MBA from NYU Stern in 2015. She was the Co-President of Stern Women in Business and specialized in Finance, Strategy, and General Management. Currently, she is the Director of Corporate Strategy at Verizon. As Director of Strategic Analysis & Planning for Verizon, she leads scenario planning activities to explore how divergent futures could emerge and impact the business.

Jasmine Reliford is a 2019 NYU Stern Graduate. She was a Consortium Fellow, served on the Community Service Committee within Stern Student Government (SGov), and was the VP of Admissions for the Social Impact and Sustainability Association (SISA) and the VP of Corporate Relations for the Association of Hispanic and Black Business Students (AHBBS). She is currently a Consultant at The Bridgespan Group.

Reflect & Connect Workshop

Join Beth Briggs, Associate Dean, Career Services and Eliza Shanley, Senior Director of the Career Center for Working Professionals for an interactive workshop developed by Stern's career coaching team. "Reflect and Connect" provides a framework for strengthening two essential disciplines for getting the most out of your MBA education: taking time to reflect on your personal growth and leveraging self-awareness and active listening skills to build meaningful and lasting connections. The workshop will include small group discussions to ensure that attendees will have the opportunity to meet and learn about one another. Space is limited so please register in advance.
