10th Annual Business Plan Competition

Butter Beans, Inc. founded by Stern Executive MBA alumna Belinda Di Giambattista (MBA '05), Felicia Desrosiers and Debbie Lyn, provides homemade, healthy meals, as well as education about food and nutrition, to school-aged children and faculty. Butter Beans' offerings include individual, daily lunch delivery services, school-wide lunch programs and wellness education programs in the classroom and in the cafeteria.

Tote, Stern MBA student Vikram Bhaskaran (MBA '09), Ben Silbermann (Yale 03) and Paul Sciarra (Yale 03) are building a mobile platform to make shopping on-the-go more convenient and fun.  The venture is now Pinterest.

6th Anuual Social Venture Competition

PODER (Project on Organizing, Development, Education and Research) founded by NYU student Ben Cokelet (MA '10), who is pursuing a joint degree in international business and politics from Stern and GSAS, Ben Locke (JD, '11), and César Naranjo. PODER is a corporate accountability firm that aims to strengthen democracy and development in Latin America.
