Biography

Orly Sade is at New York University Stern School of Business as a Visiting Associate Professor of Finance for the 2006-2007 academic year. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Hebrew University, School of Business Administration in Jerusalem.

Her primary research areas include Empirical Market-Micro Structure, Financial Auctions and Experimental Economics. She has published articles in these areas in the leading scholarly journals, including the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Business. Her research has been granted the Abe Gray award.

Before arriving at Stern, Professor Sade has served as a member of investment committees of pension, providence and mutual funds in Israel.

Professor Sade received her B.A. (Economics and Business) and M.B.A. from the Tel-Aviv University and her Ph.D. from the University of Utah.
