As a Stern student you have the opportunity to take courses in a wide range of disciplines, including analytical thinking, communication, culture, and ethics. In addition to Stern’s comprehensive business core, you can take foundation classes at the NYU College of Arts and Science, Steinhardt School of Education and the Tisch School of the Arts. These courses add to the depth and breadth to your education.
The Stern academic program combines in-classroom learning with co-curricular experiences. You will gain a deeper understanding of the global business environment through the school’s unique and innovative Barr Family International Studies Program (ISP). Stern is the only undergraduate business college to incorporate and fund an overseas trip for all core business program students as part of the curriculum. In addition, every Stern student is given the opportunity to experience the richness of New York City life. Through the Jerry and Adrianne Cohen Arts and Culture Experience, students are able to attend cultural events at highly subsidized prices. You are also encouraged to participate in local community service projects to enrich your cultural experience and your sense of professional responsibility.
