IO Day is one-day workshop in September at NYU that brings together people from the New York area schools (in whatever radius that includes Philadelphia and New Haven).

The idea is simple: We (Joyee Deb and Robin Lee) receive, until late June, suggestions of papers to present. We then ask a couple of people to put together a program of three or four papers (presentation + discussion).

Registration for IO Day consists of an email telling us you plan to come. We take care of finding a room and providing coffee and lunch. Each participant is responsible for his or her other arrangements.

We send out email news regarding IO Day based on a list of addresses that we compiled by consulting faculty from various New York area schools. If you would like to be added or removed from that list, please let us know. Please forward the information to anyone in the area who you think will be interested.

For more information, contact: Joyee Deb (joyee.deb@stern.nyu.edu), Robin Lee (robin.lee@stern.nyu.edu), or Viveca Licata (vlicata@stern.nyu.edu).

We are grateful to NERA and the NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business for graciously providing financial support for the workshop.
