Fall Symposium 2015

Fourth Annual Fall Symposium: The Nexus between Real Estate and Infrastructure Investing
Bloomberg HQ - Thursday, October 8, 2015
Featuring Keynote Speaker: Henry Cisneros

Fourth Annual Fall Symposium Summary

NYU Stern Conference Press Release

Real estate and infrastructure assets have much in common. Both are long-lived real assets with stable cash-flows that may offer inflation protection. Both types of assets are illiquid and are held in the form of private and public vehicles. Both have emerged as new asset classes of interest to large institutional investors who want to diversify their portfolio and rotate out of fixed income securities. And in both asset classes, renewed attention has been paid to environmental concerns. Our Fourth Annual CREFR Fall Symposium will compare and contrast investments in real estate and infrastructure assets, hear from leading institutional investors, and investigate how green building and new energy are changing the landscape.
