Development Initiatives
Development initiatives supported by the Center for Global Economy and Business must demonstrate the presence of significant activity or professional interest at Stern in their area of study. A development initiative may support workshops or seminar series' that gain wide faculty participation. The China Initiative is the first such program housed within the Center.Development Initiative Operations
- Hosting of formal seminars and informal workshops
- Community building, networking and information sharing, including web-based databases with bios, working papers, op-eds, blogs, events, and announcements
- Research database development or acquisition
- Programs that take advantage of and serve NYU's global sites
