Professional Information

There are two required components in the Professional section of the Stern online application. 

Work History

You will be prompted to add employment information for all positions you have held via the "Add Position" function. You must include all full-time, post-college work experience. Internships and other part-time employment may be included.  


Please upload your résumé, which should include both full-time, post-college work experience and educational information. Internships, other part-time employment, extra-curricular activities or volunteer activities may be included. 

If your employment status changes after you have applied, you must upload an updated résumé to the application status page.


Admissions Tips

  • Ensure that the employers and dates of employment on your résumé match those listed on your work history.
  • Emphasize your accomplishments and contributions on your résumé. Do not just list your job responsibilities.
  • Highlight your career progression at an organization by showing changes to your title or responsibilities.
