Andrés Sarto joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Finance in June 2020.

Professor Sarto’s research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics, finance and empirical methods. He has also developed new methods to estimate general equilibrium multipliers and has applied them to study multipliers induced by credit supply shocks.

Before joining NYU Stern, Professor Sarto was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University.

Professor Sarto received his BA and Postgraduate Degree in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, and his PhD in Economics from MIT.
