Biography

Roberto Gomez Cram joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Finance in September 2023.

Cram’s research interests span asset pricing, investments, and financial econometrics. Specifically, his recent research has explored the connection between business-cycle fluctuations and asset price movements, as well as the behavior of asset markets during Federal Open Market Committee announcements. He is also intrigued by the impact of social media on investor expectations.

Prior to joining NYU Stern, Gomez Cram held the position of Assistant Professor of Finance at the London Business School. Prior to embarking on his graduate studies, Gomez Cram worked as an assistant economist at the Central Bank of Mexico.
