BTE Students

"My goal is to become an entrepreneur that uses technology to provide innovative solutions for women's health problems. I’m working on a business idea that uses the menstrual cycle to help women achieve their maximum productivity and best selves.

Through the Design Sprint, Data Sprint, and Startup Lab projects, I have gained hands-on experience, exposure to local startups, and learned what it takes to be a founder. Each entrepreneurial project has boosted my confidence in newly acquired skills, and I can apply these principles to real-life projects with my fellow BTE classmates.

I am excited about the possibilities of starting my own business, joining one of my peers' startups, finding a co-founder or business partner, or using my newfound skills to help transform a company after leaving NYU."

"When I saw Stern was offering a program for tech students interested in entrepreneurship, I had to apply! The BTE program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get real-world startup experience in the heart of New York City. I value the program's emphasis on experiential learning: we've made products for real startups, held multiple hackathons, and had founders speak from numerous ventures based in New York.

The community is also an integral part of the program. There are so many talented students pursuing careers off the beaten path, and it is encouraging to see their relentless efforts. I have met some of my best friends in this program, and I know they will be invaluable partners as I continue my career.

My goal is to create tools that rapidly increase the speed at which people can learn, and I can think of no better program that could help prepare me for the challenges of being a founder than BTE."

"I've always been interested in product design, product management, and behavioral economics, so when I discovered the BTE program, I knew it would be the perfect fit for me. The program has allowed me to explore all of my interests together and has given me a unique opportunity to work with a close-knit and creative cohort.

One of the things I love about the BTE program is the emphasis on practical problem-solving. I love that I get to collaborate with other students who share my interests and are just as passionate about making a difference. Being located in New York City has also been a huge plus.

The city is full of opportunities to learn and grow, and it's been amazing to be in such a dynamic environment. I've been able to visit some of the most innovative companies and startups in the world, which has been incredibly inspiring. I'm confident that the program has equipped me with the necessary tools to become a successful founder, and I can't wait to see where my journey takes me."
