BS in Business/BFA in Film and Television

Earn two degrees in five years through this joint NYU Stern and NYU Tisch dual degree program.


The NYU Stern-Tisch BS in Business and BFA in Film/TV (BS/BFA) is a five-year, STEM-certified degree program that provides students with a passion for film/television and business the opportunity to combine full degrees in both program areas. While completing your degrees, you will have full access to resources from both NYU Stern Undergraduate College and the NYU Tisch Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. You will also receive personal advising in both programs and exclusive networking opportunities in the media and entertainment industries. Stern-Tisch BS/BFA students are prepared to pursue entrepreneurial creative endeavors or embark on various careers in the entertainment industry. 

You will also have the flexibility to study away, concentrate in business areas, and take advantage of cross-school minors at NYU.


Application Requirements

  • To apply, you must be a fully- matriculated NYU Stern or NYU Tisch undergraduate student entering sophomore or junior year
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Submission of a creative portfolio that clearly demonstrates creative ability in film and television
  • Prior coursework and resume that clearly demonstrates quantitative abilities and a strong interest in the field of business
