23rd annual Stern Women in Business (SWIB) conference

On Friday, February 6, Stern Women in Business (SWIB) will host their 23rd annual conference, themed, "The Economics of Success: Joint Advocacy for Better Business." The event will feature a keynote talk from Teresa S. Polley, president & CEO of The Financial Accounting Foundation; Lynn Emmolo, CEO of Sally Hershberger; and Seth Elliott, president of Vincent Longo Cosmetics. Breakout sessions will highlight women from The Economist, Deutsch NY, Citigroup and more, focusing on how men and women can collaborate in business to drive growth. Panel topics include: The Art of Self Promotion; Navigating Race and Gender: What are the Unique Challenges of Being the "Diversity"?; Defining Success in Professional Working Environments: The Evolving Role of Mentorship; and more. SWIB will encourage participants to draw on their experiences and discuss how overcoming gender barriers in the workplace can develop both men and women professionally and contribute to better business.
