Don't miss out on the 20th Annual GMA Conference on Friday, March 5th, entitled Powering Up: The Future of Consumer Connectivity. This year's event will center on the importance of forming consumer connections when making business decisions to improve brand relations and loyalty. 

NYU Stern's Fubon Center for Technology, Business, and Innovation, and its Fintech initiative, will host Stern's annual FinTech Conference on Friday, March 5, 2021. This year's conference will focus on Global Fintech 2021: No Borders, No Barriers.

The NYU Stern Business & Society Program hosted "Exploring the Role of Business in the Biden Administration's Sustainability Agenda" on February 17, 2021.

The NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business will host the Economic Outlook Forum on February 3, 2021.

In this course, students will look at the range of investment philosophies with the intent of finding not only the core beliefs that animate them, but also the ingredients needed to make them work. Students will look at the historical evidence in support of or working against each philosophy and what they need to bring to the table to succeed with that philosophy. In the process, Professor Aswath Damodaran hopes that students will find an investment philosophy that best fits them, given their individual strengths and weaknesses.

Fintech is divided into six sections focused on key fintech areas: innovation, technology, incumbents vs. startups, valuation, risk, and implications. Each section contains lessons with video lectures, readings, and assessments to facilitate learning. Students will also have the option of attending live video sessions with Professor Kathleen DeRose where additional questions and topics will be addressed.

The NYU Stern Business & Society Program hosted "Polarization, Employee Activism, and a New Era for Organizational Culture" on January 19, 2021.

"Globalization Beyond 2020: Time for a Reset?" – hosted by DHL and the Initiative on Globalization at NYU Stern's Center for the Future of Management – will look at how the events in 2020 have impacted international business, and will discuss their implications for years to come. It will explore the resilience of global supply chains and the extent to which international connectedness can help us mitigate the effects of the pandemic.

The Fubon Center will host a fireside chat featuring Jihoon Rim, former CEO of Kakao, a $20B+ tech company in South Korea moderated by Professor Melissa Schilling.

On Tuesday, October 20, NYU Stern hosted "In Conversation with Lord Mervyn King featuring Michael Sandel," the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Government at Harvard University, on his new book: The Tyranny of Merit:  What's Become of the Common Good? The discussion touched on a number of topics and timely issues, including the dignity of work, meritocracy and economic inequality, and academic life in a global media market

On Thursday, October 15, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business hosted a fireside chat with Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari.

Fintech Innovation and Competition Today; What’s it like for investors and entrepreneurs? To answer these questions and more, the Fubon Center will host a fireside chat featuring Gareth Jones, Managing Partner, Fintech Collective, and Benjamin Dyett, Partner, the Deco Group, moderated by Professor Kathleen DeRose.

The NYU Stern Vincent C. Ross Institute of Accounting Research and the NYU School of Law Institute for Corporate Governance and Finance will host the Climate Disclosure and Firms Roundtable on October 9, 2020

On Friday, October 2, NYU Stern's Volatility and Risk Institute and the NYU School of Law Institute for Policy Integrity hosted a virtual event to discuss how markets can better incorporate climate change-related risks into asset prices.

This year's Stern Innovation Conference will be themed, "Transformative Technological Change," and will examine how major innovations are changing the landscape in industries as diverse as food agriculture, transportation, medicine, education, and more. We will also consider how firms, consumers, and regulators are responding (or will respond) to these changes.
