Two teams from NYU Stern were among the 10 finalists in the Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Challenge, which seeks to develop institutional-quality investment vehicles that produce positive environmental or social impact in addition to competitive financial returns.

On April 17, NYU Stern’s Center for Global Economy and Business (CGEB) and Center for Real Estate Finance Research (CREFR) co-hosted the Conference on China's Real Estate Markets. The conference brought together leading experts on China's real estate markets for an in-depth discussion of the origins of the Chinese property boom and a study of its consequences for the Chinese macro-economy, financial institutions and markets, government and the rest of the world.

Distinguished academics from around the world will convene to share their research in the rapidly evolving field of network economics at the 2015 NET Institute Conference, held in partnership with NYU Stern’s Center for Global Economy and Business.

The MBA Media & Entertainment Conference (MEC) is a joint effort of students in the MBA programs at Columbia Business School, NYU Stern, Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Duke Fuqua. The conference is an annual event for MBA students exploring careers in media, entertainment, and technology-related industries.

The Stern Investment Management & Research (SIMR) club will host the 14th Annual NYU Stern SIMR Conference on Friday, March 27, 2015. Themed, “Investing in a Post-Fed World,” the conference will offer the opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers and panelists on idea generation and the best investment ideas in today's markets.

NYU Stern’s chapter of The Adam Smith Society (TASS) was awarded Chapter of the Year at TASS’s National Meeting. The award recognizes the success of Stern’s chapter in the number and quality of on-campus events and in the growth of their membership.

Susan Crawford, author of Captive Audience: The Telecom Industry and Monopoly Power in the New Guilded Age, delivered the 10th Annual Haitkin lecture, entitled "The Responsive City: Communications in Context."

The Macro Financial Modeling (MFM) Group Winter 2015 Meeting is co-sponsored and hosted by the Volatility Institute at the NYU Stern School of Business. Scholars, central bankers and practitioners will discuss interactions between credit risks of financial sectors and their respective sovereigns.

On Friday, February 27, the NYU Stern Private Equity Club will host its 10th Annual Stern Private Equity Conference.

Organized by NYU Stern’s Citi Leadership & Ethics Program and Business & Society Program, with generous support from the Citi Foundation, the 2015 conference featured this year’s Distinguished Citi Fellow in Leadership & Ethics Tensie Whelan, president of the Rainforest Alliance and NYU alumna (BA ’80), as well as global business leaders, funders and the managing director of a Rwandan Specialty Coffee Company.

On Thursday, February 26, NYU Stern's Management Consulting Association (MCA) and Strategy & Operations Club (SOC) will co-host the 5th Annual Strategy Forum. This year's conference is themed "WINNING: Business Strategy in Sports."
