On Thursday, September 11 and Friday, September 12, the Vincent C. Ross Institute of Accounting Research will host the 3rd annual Big Apple Accounting Conference.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the NYU Stern Fubon Center and the NYU AI Innovation Accelerator are co-hosting an evening of founder and investor perspectives on what it takes to break into the U.S. market. Speakers Katy Nelson, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and Franco Pagella, Founder and CEO at Wollen Labs, join moderator Arun Sundararajan. The evening also includes a rapid-fire showcase of 10 Korean AI startups from the NYU AI Innovation Accelerator Fall 2025 cohort, followed by networking over drinks and bites.

On Tuesday, September 9, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business will host the Fall Economic Outlook Forum featuring Aditya Bhave, Bank of America; Tani Fukui, Metlife; and Andrew Hollenhorst, Citi. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Venky Venkateswaran, director, Center for Global Economy and Business.

​The NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge at the Stern School of Business is NYU's premier springboard for the university's most promising ventures. Part startup accelerator, part venture competition the Entrepreneurs Challenge is a 5-month long program that takes NYU ventures further, faster.

​This year, more than 100 students and alumni from 19 schools and divisions across NYU’s global campuses entered to compete for over $225,000 in prizes and pro bono startup services. Over the past eight months, these teams have engaged in how-to workshops and one-on-one coaching – all in the hopes of taking their ventures to the next level.

​On May 2, the finalist teams will pitch off for a chance to win the grand prize for each of their perspective tracks.

The Department of Accounting at NYU Stern School of Business will host the Four-School Accounting Research Conference on Friday, April 4, 2025.

This annual conference brings together accounting researchers from four leading northeastern business schools, Columbia Business School, NYU Stern, Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale School of Management.

The NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business Annual Practice Forum is an industry-leading event convening investor and corporate sustainability professionals for an exchange of the latest research and insights on sustainability driving financial performance. The full-day program features new research findings, panel discussions on implementation, candid conversations with executives, and interactive sessions to apply learnings. Participants gain practical tools and frameworks to better understand and apply value creation levers in sustainability.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the NYU Stern Initiative on Purpose and Flourishing will host its first Annual Convening, entitled “Purpose and Flourishing in the 5-Generation Workplace.”

NYU-Stern's own Jonathan Haidt will begin with the case he made in his global bestseller The Anxious Generation, about how the rapid transition from a "play-based childhood" to a "phone-based childhood" in the years between 2010 and 2015 changed the course of human development around the world. Haidt will then go far beyond the mental health impacts to discuss the damage done by phone-based life to education, attention, creativity, the economy, families, and democracy.

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, NYU Stern Executive MBA: Washington, DC will host the next NYU Stern Thought Leaders Series event at NYU DC. This event, entitled “Gen Z and Generational Divides in Business” will feature a dynamic and timely conversation with NYU Stern Professor Jonathan Haidt.
