Robert Frank, research scholar at NYU Stern and the Henrietta Johnson Louis Professor of Management at Cornell University, delivered the 2016 Ashok C. Sani Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence Lecture on April 12.

NYU Stern Executive Education is pleased to offer one of the premier courses on global political risk and its impacts on business. Taught by Ian Bremmer, a preeminent thought leader on foreign policy and global political risk, and a team from the prestigious Eurasia Group, this course offers an executive-level assessment of the global risk environment and the basis for determining how politics influences a variety of economic concerns.

On April 4 and 5, NYU Stern hosted the sixth edition of the Blockchain Workshops series, which brought together more than 100 scientists, investors and legal experts to understand the upcoming challenges and opportunities provided by blockchain technologies, and their impact on financial services and entrepreneurship, as well as on the broader social, economic and political order.

United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara recently addressed an auditorium of students and faculty from NYU’s Stern School of Business and Law School, as well as Stern alumni.

NYU Stern's W.R. Berkley Innovation Lab will welcome alumni, angel investors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and industry innovators to the 2016 New Venture Showcase.  Attendees will have a chance to meet startups from across NYU who are competing in the $200K Entrepreneurs Challenge.  This year's startups range from software and consumer product ventures to medical device technologies.

The TRIUM Global Executive MBA program, a partnership between NYU’s Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris School of Management, held a module in Silicon Valley, California from January 8 - 18, the first in the program’s history.
