On Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15, the NYU Stern School of Business will co-host the JOIM-NYU Stern Conference on AI and Finance.

On Friday, May 10, NYU Stern's Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation will host a fireside chat titled "Politics, AI and 5G" featuring Huawei CTO Paul Scanlan in conversation with NYU Stern Professor Arun Sundararajan.

On Thursday May 2, NYU Stern’s Business and Society Program will host a conversation looking at the role businesses can play in addressing environmental threats, economic inequality and rising polarization and distrust.

On Tuesday, April 16, NYU Stern’s Business and Society Program (BSP) hosted the 2019 Ashok C. Sani Distinguished Scholar-In-Residence Lecture, delivered by filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan (TSOA '92). A packed audience of NYU students, alumni and guests from the family of alumnus Ashok C. Sani (BS ’74) gathered at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts for the talk entitled, “The Struggle to Find Your Voice.”

On April 12, 2019, NYU Stern's Executive MBA Program and NYU Washington DC hosted a Stern EMBA Speaker Series event at NYU’s downtown DC location featuring EMBA alumnus Charlie Reinhard (MBA ‘94), Head - NAM Investment Strategy at Citi Private Bank.

The Four School Conference brings together faculty, students and researchers from Stern, Columbia, Yale and University of Pennsylvania.

On March 27, Paul Daugherty, chief technology & innovation officer, Accenture, will discuss his new book, Human + Machine: Reimagining Work in the Age of AI, with Professor Arun Sundararajan.

Ethical Systems, housed in NYU Stern's Business and Society Program, hosted its second biennial Ethics by Design conference, “Managing Organizations in an Era of Anxiety, Polarization & Disruption,” bringing together researchers and practitioners to discuss present-day challenges for running ethical organizations.

A group of experts comprised of faculty from business and law schools, as well as other leaders in business, law and the nonprofit sectors, convened at NYU Stern for a two-day roundtable discussion on “Corporate Political Accountability: Corporate Political Spending and Risk in the Age of Trump.”

On November 14, NYU Stern hosted the latest installment of the "In Conversation with Lord Mervyn King" series featuring two renowned alumni -- Dr. Alan Greenspan (BS ’48, MA ’50, PhD ’77, Honorary Doctorate of Commercial Science ’05), former chairman of the US Federal Reserve, and John A. Paulson (BS ’78), president of Paulson & Co. Inc., NYU Trustee and member of NYU Stern’s Board of Overseers.

On November 13, Professor Diane Lennard shared findings from her new book, Strategic Communication at Work: The Impact Paradigm, as part of the Author Lecture Series.

On October 16, NYU Stern hosted the latest installment of the "In Conversation with Lord Mervyn King" series featuring Dr. Henry Kissinger, 56th United States secretary of state, former national security advisor and chairman, Kissinger Associates, Inc.

On October 10, Professor Kristen Sosulski discussed her book, Data Visualization Made Simple Insights Into Becoming Visual, in an Author Lecture Series Event.

On September 25, NYU Stern's "In Conversation with Lord Mervyn King" series hosted Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman, op-ed columnist at The New York Times and distinguished professor of economics at The Graduate Center, CUNY.

On September 14, 2018, NYU Stern's Executive MBA Program and NYU Washington DC hosted the first Stern EMBA Speaker Series event at NYU’s downtown DC location featuring Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Brian Brooks.

On September 5, Professor Dolly Chugh discussed findings from her new book, The Person You Mean to Be: How Good People Fight Bias, with moderator Jennifer Wynn (MBA '14).

Joining the NYU community in creating opportunities to deepen understanding of others' experiences, NYU Stern will host its sixth annual Ally Week from April 9-13. 

On April 6, Stern Women in Business (SWIB) will host its 26th annual Stern Women in Business Conference entitled, "Transform the Present. Shape the Future"
