On Monday, November 4, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business will host a fireside chat with Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President Mary Daly. Professor Kim Schoenholtz, Director of the Center, will lead the conversation.

NYU Stern's Vincent C. Ross Institute of Accounting Research and the Salomon Center for the Study of Financial Institutions hosted a roundtable discussion this fall, convening academics, banking and accounting industry professionals, policy-makers and regulators, to debate key issues related to the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) standard, its implementation and its effects on lending and pro-cyclicality.

In this advanced communication program, participants will practice developing and delivering well-crafted, concise messages with clearly defined intents that support their personal brand.

This course is designed to assist executives in developing the knowledge, skills and perspective they need to understand and address these environmental and social challenges, and build companies that meet the needs of society while delivering economic returns to shareholders and stakeholders.

On Wednesday, October 16, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business will host a fireside chat with Banque de France Governor François Villeroy de Galhau.

On Tuesday, October 15, the Stern student clubs Social Impact & Sustainability Association and Net Impact will co-host an event featuring Stern alumni in leadership positions at PVH, Subway, and West Elm. Panelists will discuss the state of business and sustainability today, as well as what it means to be an intrapreneur, leading initiatives around environmental and social impact from within their organizations.

NYU Stern's Fubon Center for Technology, Business, and Innovation will host Stern’s first Digital Innovation Conference on September 27, 2019. The focus of this year's conference will be Platform Strategy.

Timed to the opening of the General Assembly of the United Nations this fall, NYU Stern's Business & Society Program and the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) hosted "Digital Finance for the Sustainable Development Goals," co-sponsored by Stern clubs Net Impact and Economic Development Group.

This program equips executives with a general understanding of accounting and financial principles as they relate to organizations' operations and decision-making processes. It also prepares financial analysts and investors with a general understanding of the valuation content and limitations of financial statement information.

The NYU Stern Salomon Center for the Study of Financial Institutions will co-host an event entitled, "Where Are We in the Credit Cycle? Outlook for Credit Markets," on Friday, September 20.

NYU students and alumni convened at NYU Stern for an evening with NYU alumnus Scott Harrison (CAS '98), founder and CEO of charity: water, New York Times bestselling author and NYU’s 2018 Alumni Changemaker of the Year.  The special lecture was jointly organized by the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business, NYU Stern Business and Society Program, NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, NYU College of Arts & Science Department of Environmental Studies and NYU Stern Undergraduate College.

Kicking off another year of the $300K Entrepreneurs Challenge at NYU Stern, the School’s  W. R. Berkley Innovation Labs hosted its annual Kick-Off & Info Session.

This fall, the NYU Stern W. R. Berkley Innovation Labs and the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute hosted the second annual NYU Demo Day, featuring successful entrepreneurs and their startups from across the University.

On Thursday, June 13, the NYU Stern Marketing Department will host the 2019 AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium.

The goal of the Advanced Retail Strategy program is to provide retail professionals with the tools and strategies to navigate the shifting industry standards with confidence.

At the conclusion of an eight-month competition, NYU’s most promising innovators received cash prizes and pro-bono startup services valued at more than $300,000 at NYU Stern’s annual Entrepreneurs Challenge, organized by the School’s W. R. Berkley Innovation Labs. 

Taught by industry and academic leaders David Yermack and Kathleen DeRose, this course equips participants with an understanding of key FinTech concepts, strategies and implications.

On April 26, the NYU Stern Volatility Institute hosted its 11th annual conference entitled, "Financial Volatility in an Age of Geopolitical Risks."

The NYU Stern Salomon Center for the Study of Financial Institutions and the Bank Policy Institute will host the Conference on Household Finance on Friday, April 26.

On April 23, NYU Stern's Center for Sustainable Business hosted a panel entitled, "ESG and Impact Investing Across Asset Classes."
