Inaugural First Year London Option Students Featured in The Times of London

This Fall, NYU Stern welcomed the first Undergraduate College (UC) BS in Business program students who are participating in the program’s newly introduced First Year London option. Through this option, students spend their first year at NYU London before transitioning to NYU’s New York City campus to complete the remainder of their four-year degree program.

While in London, students follow the same rigorous curriculum as their counterparts who begin the BS in Business Program at NYU’s Washington Square campus, including taking courses such as the Cohort Leadership Program, Business & Society, Financial Accounting, Microeconomics and more.

Stern UC students enrolled in the Commerce & Culture course with Professor Marina Gerner this semester had the unique opportunity to offer insights as part of the class that were spotlighted in Raconteur’s Digital Learning special report. Students Keels Braga, Anish Jog, Kiran Kashyap, Aadhya Khanvilkar, Hannah Olah, Antoine Van Veen, Sriya Yemireddy and Andrew Zou were quoted in an article entitled “What Businesses and Educators Need to Hear About Hybrid Learning.” The report was featured in The Times print edition in October and is available for download on Raconteur’s site

First Year London students gain a jumpstart on achieving a global perspective, one of the five pillars that underlie the Stern undergraduate experience and an essential skill in today’s increasingly complex and globalized world. More information on the First Year London option is available here
