Excerpt from Poets&Quants — “What do you think makes you stand out as a professor? I aspire to create a classroom culture that encourages connections between students. The hour or so that students spend off of their devices, debating ideas and bouncing thoughts off one another feels increasingly rare yet precious. I am staunchly low-tech in my classroom approach, limiting technology and prioritizing experiential learning and face-to-face interaction above all else.
