Class of 2025 students in NYU Stern’s one-year Andre Koo Technology & Entrepreneurship MBA Program embarked on a two-week trip to Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Los Angeles  – the heart of the West Coast tech ecosystem –  this January. As part of a three-credit course, students gained first-hand insights into what drives innovation in these global tech hubs through corporate visits with industry leaders – many of whom are Stern alumni – as well as alumni networking events in each city.

NYU-Stern's own Jonathan Haidt will begin with the case he made in his global bestseller The Anxious Generation, about how the rapid transition from a "play-based childhood" to a "phone-based childhood" in the years between 2010 and 2015 changed the course of human development around the world. Haidt will then go far beyond the mental health impacts to discuss the damage done by phone-based life to education, attention, creativity, the economy, families, and democracy.

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, NYU Stern Executive MBA: Washington, DC will host the next NYU Stern Thought Leaders Series event at NYU DC. This event, entitled “Gen Z and Generational Divides in Business” will feature a dynamic and timely conversation with NYU Stern Professor Jonathan Haidt. 

On Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14, the NYU Stern Altman-Paulson Initiative on Credit & Distressed Opportunities will co-host the 2025 Credit Opportunities Symposium titled "Dynamically Changing Credit Markets:
Opportunities & Pitfalls."

Class of 2025 students in NYU Stern’s one-year MBA program focused on luxury and retail kicked off January by traveling to Florence, Italy for an intensive three-credit course designed to immerse students in one of the leading European hubs in retail and luxury.

Michael’s entrepreneurial journey has spanned more than 25 years. He is the founder of five tech ventures, including big data pioneer, Splunk (SPLK), which was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2024 for $28.8B.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance hosted its 3rd Annual Symposium on Innovation and Sustainable Real Estate, in partnership with the NYU Office of Sustainability and the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business.
