They applied this algorithm against 1,300 brands, thus providing the basis for predicting winners and losers."

In contrast, if a product has a short shelf life, a sufficiently large donor budget and a diverse customer population, it is optimal to offer a sales subsidy in addition to a purchase subsidy."

The MBA Media & Entertainment Conference (MEC) is a joint effort of students in the MBA programs at Columbia Business School, NYU Stern, Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Duke Fuqua. The conference is an annual event for MBA students exploring careers in media, entertainment, and technology-related industries.
