NYU Stern welcomes Glenn Krevlin (MBA ’88), New York, NY

Glenn Krevlin is the founder, principal, and portfolio manager at Glenhill Capital, a fundamental equity investment manager founded in 2001. Prior to founding Glenhill Capital, Glenn was a partner and portfolio manager at Cumberland Associates for 11 years and began his career at Goldman Sachs. Glenn has been a lead investor in and has served on numerous advisory, private, and public boards, including Design Within Reach, Inc.; Restoration Hardware; and Capital Q, a privately held franchisee of Qdoba.

Important executive board leadership transition

Alumnus Andre Koo (MBA ‘94), chairman of Chailease Group, will be stepping down as chair of the Stern Executive Board, and Dietrich Becker (MBA ’91), partner and president of Perella Weinberg Partners, and Stern's 2023 Haskins Giving Society Honoree, will succeed him, effective July 1, 2024.

Andre has served as a member of the Executive Board since 2012, and in July 2019, he became the first internationally-based business leader to serve as the Board Chair. NYU Stern is incredibly grateful for his tireless leadership as Board Chair and his impact will have a lasting legacy at the School. In May 2023, Andre, who is also a member of the NYU Board of Trustees, was selected by NYU as last year’s sole recipient of the Albert Gallatin Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Society.

Dietrich has been a member of Stern's Executive Board for more than a decade. During that time, he has played an essential role in Board recruitment, which has resulted in new voices and new perspectives working to advance the School's mission. Equally importantly, Dietrich serves as an anchor and a bridge builder in one of the School's major hubs, London, regularly connecting with students and parents, hosting alumni events, and opening new pathways between the UK, Europe, and New York in service of his alma mater.
