Bharat N. Anand
Bharat N. Anand is the Richard R. West Dean of NYU Stern and Professor of Business Administration. He began his tenure as Dean on August 1, 2025. He joined NYU Stern from Harvard University, where he was the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning and the Henry R. Byers Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, and served on the faculty for 27 years. Dean Anand is an expert in digital strategy, media and entertainment strategy, corporate strategy, and organizational change.
Nate Pettit
Nate Pettit is the Vice Dean for MBA and Graduate Programs at NYU Stern, teaching leadership courses across MBA programs and involved with the Stern Chats podcast. His research focuses on hierarchical dynamics and competition, with work published in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal and Psychological Science. Nate serves on editorial boards and has received multiple teaching awards, including Poets & Quants’ top MBA professors under 40 and Stern’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
Lindsay Loyd
Lindsay Loyd is the Executive Director for MBA Admissions at NYU Stern. She joined NYU Stern in January 2023 after a 20 year career in financial services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Ian D'Souza
Ian D'Souza is a Clinical Professor of Finance teaching behavioral finance, blockchain, DeFi & cryptocurrencies and new venture financing. Previously, he was an Adjunct Professor of Finance at NYU Stern since 2006. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of ESG and Impact Investing. He is also a founding member of the NYU Stern Family Office Council with over 200 members.
Michael North
Michael S. North is an Associate Professor of Management and Organizations (with tenure) at New York University Stern School of Business. For several years he taught and coordinated the Stern undergraduate core course “Management & Organizations.” He currently teaches the core course “Leadership in Organizations” in the Stern part-time MBA and executive MBA programs, as well as the full-time MBA core course “Leadership," for which he also serves as Course Lead.
Suzy Welch
Professor Suzy Welch has built a multifaceted 40-year career as a Miami crime reporter, Bain & Co. consultant, and columnist for O: The Oprah Magazine. A Harvard University and Harvard Business School graduate, she has contributed to the Today Show and The Wall Street Journal. At NYU Stern, she teaches the acclaimed courses Becoming You and Managing with Purpose and directs the NYU Stern Initiative on Purpose and Flourishing, advancing research on authentic meaning and purposeful leadership.
Nourine Bhimani
Nourine is a first-generation immigrant and international professional with over 10 years of experience across education, marketing, banking, communications, and social work. Most recently, she was the inaugural Assistant Director of Graduate Experiential Programs at Princeton, overseeing six fellowship programs. She specializes in international student career success and previously worked at NYU SPS Wasserman, where she received the 2023 International Student Solidarity Award.
Daphne Ho
Daphne is an MBA candidate at NYU Stern in the focused Luxury & Retail program and is interested in the intersection between luxury brands and elite sport. Before pursuing her MBA, Daphne worked at an international law firm in DEI. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University.
Emma Elsbecker
Emma is a current Full Time MBA student at NYU Stern. She serves as co-president for the Entertainment, Media, and Sports Association (EMSA) and is a member of Stern Women in Business (SWIB) and the Graduate Marketing Association (GMA). Upon graduating from Stern, Emma intends to continue working with the Cadillac Formula 1 Team as a Commercial Operations Manager to support cross-department commercial campaigns. She holds a Bachelor's in Quantitative Social Science from Dartmouth College.
Kose Mathew
Kose Mathew, a Brooklyn native, is a second-year MBA candidate at NYU Stern specializing in Accounting and Financial Instruments and Markets. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from NYU Tandon and served four years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. After graduating, he will join McKinsey & Company. At Stern, he is active in student leadership and enjoys running, bouldering, traveling, and exploring NYC’s food scene.
Taylor Rooks
Taylor is an MBA candidate at NYU Stern and a Forté and Consortium Fellow, specializing in Corporate Finance and Entertainment & Media. She will join Citi’s Communications Investment Banking group after graduation. Before pursuing her MBA, Taylor worked in emerging market credit at Credit Suisse and consumer equity research at Rockefeller Capital Management. She holds a Master of Management from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.
