Ten Concentrations to Choose From


Throughout your Stern education, you will integrate top-rated business coursework with liberal arts classes to complete an academic program that will prepare you to succeed in today’s fast-paced business world. During your first few years at Stern, you will sample each area of business study while completing your core classes. The insights gained and preferences discovered while completing your foundation coursework will serve as a guide as you choose a concentration. The Undergraduate College Business degree offers ten different areas of specialized study.

In addition to the valuable skills and knowledge you will gain through your business education, your liberal arts coursework will be instrumental in preparing you for your professional lives. As a Stern student in the Business degree, you not only have the opportunity to choose electives in the arts and sciences, but we strongly encourage you to consider a minor in the College of Arts and Science, Tisch School of the Arts, Wagner School of Public Service, or Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. You may choose from a broad range of disciplines that will enhance your academic experience and professional development. You may also have the opportunity to do a major at the College of Arts and Science.
