Leadership Initiatives
A great leader has not just an outstanding educational background, but also communication skills, a global perspective, and a sense of professional responsibility.
Stern’s student leadership initiatives include:
 | Orientation Leaders (OL) Greet and guide incoming freshmen during NYU Orientation and Stern Welcome Week. OLs lead team-building activities and mentor new students to help them make friends and feel comfortable at Stern. |
 | Cohort Leadership Program (CLP) Leaders Assist weekly with the CLP and be a resource for freshmen during their first semester. Each CLP class section has two student leaders who serve as sources of information and support. |
 | Student Conferences and CASE Competitions Represent Stern at conferences and competitions worldwide. Our students have traveled as close as Boston, Massachusetts and as far as Stockholm, Sweden to participate in events with other universities. |
 | MBA Mentor Program Connect and collaborate with Stern MBA students. The program brings together Stern juniors and second-year MBA students for mentoring, support, and networking. |
 | Student Clubs and Organization Executive Boards Participate in and help manage student-led clubs, organizations and government. |
