On September 17th, humorist, former writer of the New York Times Magazine weekly column “The Ethicist,” and four-time Emmy Award-winner Randy Cohen joins us to host his live podcast Person Place Thing. Randy has created a dynamic interview show based on the idea that people are most engaging when they speak not about themselves, but something they care about. Guests talk about one person, one place, and one thing that are important to them. Past guests have included Ta-Nehisi Coates, Maya Lin, Andy Borowitz, A.O. Scott, Jonathan Safran Foer, and Julianne Moore.

Join the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business (CSB) for a live podcast taping of Person Place Thing by Randy Cohen in conversation with Tensie Whelan, CSB Director and Clinical Professor of Business & Society. Live music will be performed by blues-inspired musician and Tensie’s brother Sid Whelan.
