Global Study

MBA Students Take 2018 "Doing Business in… Morocco" Course

In March, a group of MBA students traveled to Casablanca and Marrakesh for NYU Stern’s “Doing Business in… Morocco and North Africa” course. Highlights of the trip included corporate visits with Lesieur Cristal and HPS, as well as daily lectures on economic, political and legal considerations of Moroccan business models and a discussion on U.S. and Moroccan trade relations.

“Spending time in a country like Morocco with new friends and professors was powerful,” said MBA student Maddie Scheler. “It was important to me to expand my perspective and gain an understanding of business practices in a developing country. Now that I'm back in the States, I find myself with a more global mindset as I sit in classes and speak with my network.”
