Levinthal joins NYU Stern Professor Christina Fang for a virtual fireside chat, hosted the the Strategic Management Initiative at the Center for the Future of Management, to share insights and answer questions from his new book, "Evolutionary Processes and Organizational Adaptation: A Mendelian Perspective on Strategic Management." In this book, Professor Levinthal describes how executives can strategically position their organizations for uncertain future competitive environments, not with a “crystal ball” but by orchestrating a diverse set of initiatives within their organizations.

The course examines how to surmount the negative impact that implicit bias can have on performance, team dynamics and efforts to create inclusive environments. Through self-reflective exercises, interactive sessions and group work, the course will move from building awareness of practices that foster diversity and inclusion, to helping participants create an inclusive leadership plan that results in stronger teams and organizations.

2021 Fubon Innovation Conference
The last year and a half have dramatically changed the work environment at most organizations, and have forced us to rethink how to accomplish collaboration, innovation and productivity. This has resulted in new technologies, organizational practices and norms that have enabled fundamental changes in how we come together and create things. In this fast-paced conference, scholars and practitioners will share their knowledge about managing remote innovation and/or the new technologies and practices that are enabling it. We will hear their lessons learned, and some predictions for what we might see in the future.
