On April 11th at 5:00 pm EDT, the NYU Stern Business & Society Program will host the 2024 Ashok C. Sani Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence Lecture titled: "How Business Can Help to Stop Human Trafficking," delivered by Ruchira Gupta, Emmy Award-winning activist, author, journalist and founder of Apne Aap.

On Tuesday, February 6, NYU Stern's Center for Global Economy and Business hosted the Fall Economic Outlook Forum featuring Marc Giannoni, Barclays; Karin Kimbrough, LinkedIn; Liz Ann Sonders, Charles Schwab. The discussion was moderated by Professor Venky Venkateswaran, director, Center for Global Economy and Business.

On Tuesday, October 11, NYU Stern's Business and Society Program hosted the Haitkin Lecture with guest Brad Smith, vice chair and president, Microsoft. The discussion was moderated by Michael Posner, director, NYU Stern Center for Business & Human Rights.

On Monday, April 17, NYU Stern’s Business and Society Program (BSP) hosted the 2023 Ashok C. Sani Distinguished Scholar-In-Residence Lecture, delivered by Tom Szaky, CEO of TerraCycle, and moderated by Batia Wiesenfeld, Director of the Business & Society Program. This year's talk was entitled, "Eliminating the Idea of Waste: The TerraCycle Story of Purposeful Capitalism to Help Make Our World More Circular."

On Tuesday, April 4, NYU Stern hosted a panel discussion titled "SVB and Beyond: Understanding the Banking Stress and Ways Forward." 

The failure of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) last week exposed the fragility of the banking system. Hear from some of NYU Stern's leading banking scholars about SVB's decline and the overall health of the banking system, and what dangers lie ahead.

On Friday, February 24, 2023, the Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance hosted "InnovateESG 2023: Advancing Real Estate’s Environmental, Social, and Governance Missions Through PropTech and Innovation." Anthony Malkin, Chairman, President, and CEO of Empire State Realty Trust, joined the forum as keynote speaker.
