Biography

Dan Cohen is a Senior Vice President/Creative Director at Publicis North America in New York. Dan works primarily on Procter & Gamble’s Family Care Brands as well as new business. He oversees integrated creative development on brands such as Bounty Paper Towels, Charmin Bath Tissue, and Puffs Facial Tissues. Dan has earned creative industry honors in both traditional and new media while also being a key member of the Publicis team that won P&G’s Agency of the Year three years in a row.

Dan is recognized as a hybrid creative/strategic thinker. He is passionate about developing big ideas, launching new products and reinvigorating existing brands. He is known for working collaboratively with clients, agency partners, and mentoring colleagues internally. Dan prides himself in being a business first Creative Director who enjoys solving his clients’ problems.

Prior to joining Publicis, Dan worked as both a Creative Director and Account Manager at JWT, DDB, and McCann-Erickson creating award-winning campaigns for Nestle, Domino’s, Hershey’s, Schick, Kleenex, and Major League Soccer. His work has been recognized by Cannes, The One Show, The Clios, The Effies, and The Webby Awards.

Dan holds a BA in English from Brandeis University where he played varsity soccer and graduated cum laude. He also earned a Masters in Business from the Stern School of Business at NYU. There he discovered his passion for entrepreneurial side ventures. He is particularly proud of his children’s hip-hop album, Bust a Nursery Rhyme, and his sneaker line, Official Zonkers, both of which received national distribution.
