Biography

Jason Turetsky is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Management Communication Program at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He also teaches in Stern’s Department of Technology, Operations, and Statistics.

Professor Turetsky hones students’ management and communication skills by helping them appreciate both the theory and the practical applications behind everything he teaches. He brings his varied experiences in corporate, non-profit, government, and entrepreneurial environments into the Stern classroom to connect meaningfully with his students no matter what their career goals.

Outside of teaching, Professor Turetsky most recently worked at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. At CBRE, his team helped leading corporations optimize their real estate assets. Previously, as Assistant Director of the Anti-Defamation League’s Research Center and Political Advisor at the Israeli Consulate in New York, he edited and wrote material published and quoted in numerous traditional media outlets and social media and presented his research at events throughout the country. From past work with educational consulting firms, he draws on over a decade of experience teaching, advising, and coaching students.

Professor Turetsky holds an MBA with Distinction from NYU Stern, where he specialized in Quantitative Finance, Business Analytics, and Real Estate.
