Dr. Yoon is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Southern Connecticut State University and an Adjunct Associate Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, where he teaches International Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University. His research focuses on environmental economics and international trade, with publications in journals such as Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Economics Letters, and Applied Economics.

Dr. Yoon has served as a consultant for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, where he contributed to research on climate change adaptation and economic development.
