William Ryan joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Marketing in September 2025.
Ryan researches topics in consumer behavior and judgment and decision-making using methods including experiments and natural language processing. His research has been published in leading journals such as Psychological Science.
Previously, he worked as a consultant at The Greatest Good, a behavioral science and econometrics consulting firm.
