Executive Programs Class of 2020 Candidate Recognition

Message from Dean Sundaram and Vice Dean Salomon

Saturday, August 1, 2020

Congratulations to the NYU Stern Executive Programs Graduate Class of 2020!

Today, we are convening virtually from around the world with our Executive Programs Stern community, from our Executive MBA programs in New York City and Washington, DC, our MS in Global Finance, MS in Risk Management, and MS in Business Analytics program, to celebrate your hard work and academic accomplishments.

We are tremendously proud and impressed with your agility, adaptability, and continued commitment to your program over the last few months, especially in light of the challenging circumstances we have all endured. Your steadfast dedication to completing your degree--despite balancing all of your obligations and responsibilities as executives--exemplifies our community’s resolve to embrace change no matter what arises.

Stern’s Executive Programs Class of 2020 has left an indelible mark on the history of our School. Your strength of character, resilience, and care for your community throughout the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is nothing short of remarkable. The ways in which you have showed up for one another perfectly demonstrates one of the School’s most cherished core values – an uncommonly connected community.

We invite you to explore this celebration website, where you’ll find a collection of reflections and photos submitted by your peers. We hope that you will cherish with family and friends alike the memories you created during your time as students – a lovely tribute to the shared experiences of NYU Stern’s Executive Programs Class of 2020.

Finally, we are developing plans to reconvene in NYC, in-person, to properly celebrate the Class of 2020 when it is safe to do so in the future. We very much look forward to that day!

On behalf of the faculty and administration, congratulations once again!

Warm regards,

Raghu Sundaram, Dean
Rob Salomon, Vice Dean, Executive Programs
