To NYU Stern’s Class of 2020 and Class of 2021,

You would have received President Hamilton's email by now, announcing that NYU will be hosting its Postponed All-University Commencement Exercises at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Similarly, Stern is delighted to announce plans to host school-wide, in-person graduation ceremonies next spring to recognize our Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 with all of the pomp and circumstance befitting a celebration of our accomplished graduates.

Please save Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in your calendars for Stern’s Graduation Exercises!  Exact ceremony times and event details will be forthcoming.

With nearly two years of NYC being closed to large-scale indoor events, the pent-up demand for space in the tristate area is considerable.  Finding a suitable venue and aligning with NYU's schedule for the Postponed All-University Commencement proved even more challenging.  Our intention was to schedule the events as close together as possible to facilitate those of you who may be traveling a great distance or taking time off from work.  Given the fierce competition for space across the City, we feel especially fortunate to have secured a date in one of New York’s marquee venues one week prior to NYU's Commencement date.  We’re hopeful that you may be able to attend one or both events with this advanced notice.
