Scholarships
The Stern Executive MBA program is proud to support applicants through scholarships.
We offer partial merit-based scholarships each year to selected applicants who are receiving minimal or no financial sponsorship from their employer. All scholarships are individual, one-time awards and are applied equally across each installment payment. To be considered for one of our partial merit-based scholarships, select the scholarship consideration checkbox on your application.
Scholarship decisions are made based on an overall review of the formal application and the interview. In assessing merit, we consider a wide range of factors, including past academic achievement, professional accomplishments, positive impact, and leadership. Applicants will be considered for all available scholarships and will be notified in the offer of admission if selected.
Executive MBA Distinguished Faculty Scholarship
Awarded to exceptional admitted students. Based on their professional backgrounds and interests, recipients are paired with Stern's most distinguished EMBA faculty. In addition to the scholarship, faculty scholars have the opportunity to connect with their designated faculty.
Executive MBA Dean’s Scholarship
Awarded based on a range of criteria including prior academic achievement, professional accomplishments, and demonstration of leadership and teamwork abilities.
Executive MBA Advancing Diversity in Business Scholarship
Awarded to select applicants who demonstrate a deep and abiding commitment to advancing diversity in business.
Executive MBA Social Impact Scholarship
Awarded to select applicants with demonstrated leadership or significant contributions in the public and/or non-profit sectors.
Executive MBA Sustainability Scholarship
Awarded to select applicants who are committed to making an impact through sustainability in their industry or function.

Domestic Students – Federal & Private Loans
U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents are eligible for federal loans. They also have the option to apply for private loans.
Federal Loans
The U.S. Department of Education offers both federal unsubsidized and Graduate PLUS loans. Students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be reviewed for a federal unsubsidized or Graduate PLUS loan. Applicants are encouraged to submit their FAFSA as early as possible and should submit it no later than May of the calendar year they intend to start school. Private Loans
U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents may be eligible to receive private loans. A comprehensive list of current lenders typically used by Stern students can be found on the Stern Graduate Financial Aid website.
International Students – Private Loans
