There are many ways for alumni to actively help NYU Stern sustain the excellence of its program and enhance the alumni experience for your peers:

Join a Regional Alumni Group: With Stern alumni spread across the globe from Boston to Beijing and San Francisco to Singore, regional alumni groups are an excellent way for alumni to get involved, and include volunteer opportunities such as organizing social and educational events. To find a regional alumni group in your area and to learn more about getting involved, view the list of NYU Stern regional alumni leaders and contact your regional leadership.

Participate on a Committee: Alumni Council committees meet throughout the year to lead activity in such areas as regional alumni events, networking opportunities, recent graduate outreach, and signature events such as the Alumni Holiday Celebration and Reunions. To find out more about the Alumni Council, please visit the website.

Recommend a Speaker: Alumni can recommend senior executives to address current students and share their knowledge on a range of topical subjects.

Speak with Prospective Applicants: Alumni regularly volunteer to participate in Information Sessions where they speak to prospective students about the many facets of the MBA Program and share their thoughts about what to expect.

Become a Mentor: NYU Stern offers many opportunities for alumni to mentor current students and fellow alumni, including through the New Venture Program. For more information regarding mentoring opportunities, please visit the website.

Help with Recruitment:
Newly-admitted students, some of whom have yet to confirm their matriculation in the MBA Program, are invited each semester to a reception where they can mingle with current MBA students, Stern faculty, and alumni.

Contact: To express an interest in volunteering, please contact the Office of Development & Alumni Relations at alumni@stern.nyu.edu.
