Stern Fund

NYU Stern alumni and friends are the driving force behind the Stern Fund, which provides annual operating assistance for the School.  Contributions to the Stern Fund enable the School to bridge the gap between operational expenses and income from tuition and other sources.

These philanthropic gifts have a powerful and immediate impact on Stern.  They allow the Dean and the faculty to respond to new ideas and innovative approaches, as well as to provide needed support for our students, faculty, academic programs, and alumni.

Here are the critical ways in which the School puts Stern Fund dollars to work:
  • Supporting students with scholarships: Student aid is essential to Stern’s ability to continue to attract and enroll the best and brightest young men and women, whatever their economic circumstances, into our prestigious MBA and undergraduate programs.
  • Recruiting outstanding professors: World-class faculty members establish and maintain Stern’s international reputation for excellence in teaching and research.
  • Maintaining a rigorous and diverse curriculum: Stern’s 21st century courses and programs ensure that our students keep up with the ever-changing world of business and prepare themselves for successful careers.
  • Providing professional development for our alumni: Stern graduates cherish opportunities to learn and grow, and the School must continue to invest in its alumni by offering career development and lifelong learning opportunities.
Gifts to the Stern Fund drive the future of our School.  Support from alumni and friends is essential if we are to realize the vision of making Stern the most relevant and sought-after business school in the world. Thank you for your support of Stern.
