Please join us on the evening of Wednesday, January 18th for a Stern Alumni Reception and Conversation with Finance Professor Sam Chandan, Director of Stern’s newly established Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance.

Professor Chandan will lead a conversation on the outlook for the US and UK economies and real estate markets in 2023. Topics to be addressed during this interactive forum include:

• How monetary and fiscal policy are shaping the outlook for recession, recovery, and the job market;
• The performance of the residential and commercial real estate markets in London and New York;
• The return to the office, remote work, and the implications for the world’s most important cities.

Currently based in New York, Professor Chandan has close personal and professional ties to England and is a UK national. Among his UK affiliations, he is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, Royal Society for Public Health, and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Professor Chandan and Josh Negreira will be joined in London by 25 MBA students participating in a Global Real Estate Markets course. We look forward to introducing the students to alumni during the reception.
