Join Stern Professor Emeritus Edward Altman and fellow Stern alumni for a discussion about the 50 year evolution of his Z-score model for assessing the financial health of companies globally and his analysis of the credit cycle outlook.

While this model has retained its accuracy and popularity as the leading failure prediction model used by practitioners and scholars, many of the users of his models are not applying them as effectively as they could be.  Professor Altman will review this issue and a large number of practical applications in both financial and managerial markets. Finally, Professor Altman will review where we are in today’s credit cycle and the outlook for the next year and beyond.
