Professor Altman will review the incredible 50 year evolution of his Z-score model for assessing the financial health of companies globally. This model has retained its accuracy and popularity as the leading failure prediction model used by practitioners and scholars. However, many of the school models are perhaps not using it as effectively as they could be, and Professor Altman will review this issue and a large number of very practical applications in both financial and managerial markets. Finally, Professor Altman will review where we are in today’s credit cycle and the outlook for the new year and intermediate-term future.
