What is experiential marketing and how is it used most effectively? We’re bringing together a panel of business leaders (from CPG, e-Commerce, Entertainment, and Service industries) to share their knowledge, insights and recommendations.

The panel will be moderated by Jenny Fernandez (Kellogg ‘05). Jenny is VP of Sales & Marketing at Merlin Entertainments NA managing North America Brand Portfolio including Madame Tussauds, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, The Eye Brand, SEA LIFE & The Dungeons.

Jenny is a highly experienced Marketing business leader with Entertainment and deep CPG experience and a strong track record of leading strategic business turnarounds in North America and Asia Pacific, building global brands, driving innovation, and developing strategic plans to deliver results.

Jenny has also served in leadership roles on brands including Oreo, Trident, Triscuit, and Kraft Mac & Cheese Crackers. She previously managed Oreo in Asia Pacific spending 3 years as an Expat is China.

Marisa Mulvihill
Marisa is a leader in Prophet’s strategy practice and has nearly 20 years of marketing, brand and CX experience across a number of industries including retail, healthcare, hospitality and financial services. At Prophet, Marisa has worked on building brands that drive growth at the intersection of customer insights and business strategy. She has deep experience optimizing brand portfolios and architectures for complex organizations, developing break-through value propositions, and designing experiences to deliver growth. She has worked with some of the world’s leading brands, including Crate and Barrel, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, and Citi. Prior to joining Prophet, Marisa worked at American Express where she developed expertise in acquisition marketing and new product development. Marisa graduated with an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kelly Markus
Kelly Markus is the Vice President of Experiential Marketing at Refinery29. Specializing in Event Marketing Strategy, Production and Creative Direction for over 20 years, her work experience includes multi-media, culinary and entertainment festivals, consumer sponsorship activations, film festivals and screenings, fashion runway shows, and launch events in over 35 US markets, including Refinery29's award-winning 29Rooms experiential franchise. She recently served as the Executive Producer for Rubik Marketing's HBO Game of Thrones Season 6 US City tour, bringing to life the iconic locations of the show under the direction of the show runners. For Entertainment Weekly she developed and supervised the build out of their new film, music, TV and literary festival POPFEST, as well as served as Executive Producer of the Time 100 2016 Gala. She launched and managed DKC Incite, the experiential division of DKC, overseeing production and creative of events as diverse as the launch of Crowdstar's Covet appl with Rachel Zoe, Jaguar XL's NY Auto show reveal with Christina Hendricks, editors events for Steinway & Sons, and ComicCon fan event for Sega's Sonic Boom. Her own agency, Markus Daly Ryan, that she launched prior to DKC was named BizBash's 2012 Agency to Watch. Her agency's other credits include Kraft's Massimo Pop Up store, Coca-Cola's Premiere sponsorship activation at the New York City Wine & Food Festival. Kelly is an alum of NYU.

Raquel (Rocky) Lachman
Raquel (Rocky) Lachman KSM ‘08 is a brand marketing leader and recently the VP of Marketing at S’well where she focused on brand marketing, collaborations, sustainability and charitable marketing. She has experiences in lifestyle beverages, health & beauty and financial services marketing in Fortune 500, startup and entrepreneurial companies. She is passionate about fitness, girls education & women's leadership and lifestyle brand marketing. Raquel has worked with early and mid-stage startups on brand and digital marketing, new product innovation, partnerships, retail and PR & communications. She lives and breathes brands and grew up at companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, American Express and BlackRock. Raquel received her undergraduate degree from Harvard graduating cum laude and completed her MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. She is a believer in giving back and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dana Hall School. She has previously served on the boards of Girls Inc. NYC and Girls for Gender Equity.
