Professor Melissa Schilling joined Justin Fox, Bloomberg View columnist, for a conversation about her new book, Quirky: The Remarkable Story of the Traits, Foibles, and Genius of Breakthrough Innovators Who Changed the World. Alumni Council Member Meredith Gertler, MBA '04, welcomed the speakers and kicked off the evening with introductory remarks. Sharing illuminating stories from breakthrough innovators including Elon Musk, Marie Curie, and Steve Jobs, Professor Schilling detailed the key characteristics common to top innovators over time. After the discussion and Q&A, guests enjoyed a reception and book signing with Professor Schilling.
